Eine einmalige Gelegenheit bietet sich zur Zeit vor der Kanaren-Insel El Hierro: Von der Küste aus kann man die Eruption eines neuen unterseeischen Vulkans beobachten. Zur Zeit sind noch alle Optionen offen: Der Vulkan kann weiter ausbrechen, vielleicht noch jahrelang, und dabei eine neue Insel entstehen lassen. Nobody knows, what the volcano will do in the next future: The eruption may continue, maybe for years, creating a new island. But it also may calm down and stop spewing gas and lava.
