After literally decades of frustration over the lack of a decent solution for managing timecodes in film manuscripts, I've finally built one myself.
Write your documenatry script while watching the film in the same window and never ever care for timecodes.
The Filmtext-o-Mat lets you:
The whole thing is packaged as a tiny .html file and should run in any browser (though I've only tested it with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge — reports from other browsers are welcome).
